Deckbuilder Updates and Magic Arena

Hey folks, Richard here. If you've been following the podcast, you know I'm a huge fan of Magic Arena, so today I wanted to share with you some site updates to help your Magic Arena experience, as well as some general usability improvements.

Specific Versions of Cards

Today when you create a deck on MTGGoldfish, we default to showing the cheapest version of each card— a travesty for those who like to bling out their decks. Now you have the option of specifying the exact version for each card:

Wonder how much a blinged out Jund deck costs? Ask no more:

Arena Deck Prices

With all decklists, we now display a count for each rarity to help you evaluate the "cost" of a deck on Magic Arena. If you need more details, check out the "Arena" tab on the deck. It shows each individual card rarity, as well as which cards are not yet available on Magic Arena.

Import / Export

To help you seamlessly move decks between Magic Arena and MTGGoldfish, you can both Import and Export Magic Arena decks.

And if you're looking for the new deck to try out, you can browse the User Submitted Decks for the latest Arena decks.

More to Come!

We're working hard on getting Super Brew Arena-ready, so expect that in the near future. In the meantime, if you find any bugs or have any suggestions on how to improve our tools, be sure to leave a comment or drop us an email at contact@mtggoldfish.com.

Single Scoop: You Don't Need to Build Around Ugin At All

Ugin might read like in a way to where you'd load your deck up with a bunch of random colorless spells but Ugin might just be good on his own! This Golgari Ramp shell will test that.
