Commander Clash S9 E8: Anime Week | BoJack Horseman vs. Cowboy Bebop vs. Fate/Zero vs. Yu Yu Hakusho
Hey friends, welcome back to Commander Clash! This week is Anime Week (aka Crim Week) and everyone has built a flavorful thematic deck based on their favorite anime! I highly recommend clicking on the deck links this time because we wrote down all our card references! Here's what we got:
- Crim shows his love of shonen anime with Yu Yu Hakusho, playing out epic battles led by Sol'kanar the Swamp King
- Richard has selected Fate/Zero, which I'm told is like anime Hunger Games but I'm still confused, led by Child of Alara
- Seth hasn't watched any anime but has assured us that since they are "just cartoons" (his words, not mine) he picked his favorite cartoon, BoJack Horseman, led by Child of Alara
- Tomer picks one of his favorite shows, Cowboy Bebop, playing a deck made by DJ from Jumbo Commander, led by Mathas, Fiend Seeker
Will this video showcase an epic battle, or will the entire video be just pointless filler, dialogue, and lazy exposition? Find out next time on Dragon Ball Z Commander Clash! But first, a quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

In addition to the official Commander ban list, the following cards are banned on our show:
- Sol Ring
- Mana Crypt
- Mana Vault
- Cyclonic Rift
- any individual card over $100
These additional bans are done to promote games that are more consistently enjoyable for our viewers.
Next Week: Sliver Mayhem III!
Magic Online has been struggling a lot more as of late, so we decided to embrace the bugginess and try to intentionally break the client by doing another Sliver Mayhem week! Here are the rules:
- Sliver Legion commander
- No tutors (no card that searches libraries)
- 50 Slivers minimum
Take your bets on how many turns Magic Online can survive before inevitably crashing and you'll see if you are right next week!
