Commander Clash S9 E1: Core Set 2021 | Barrin vs. Gadrak vs. Rin & Seri vs. Subira
Hey friends, welcome back to Commander Clash! After a one week break we're back with the start of Season 9! As usual, a new season means a new change in the roster: Crim is joining us once again for a full Goldfish crew roster! This will be the first time ever that we don't have a guest starring in the season, though a guest may pop in now and then for special episodes. We kick things off with Core Set 2021, building decks around the new legendary creatures from the new set. Here's what we've got:
- Crim looks to durdle his way to victory with a Wizard Blink deck led by Barrin, Tolarian Archmage
- Richard plays the role of Smaug, lording over his ever-growing treasure hoard until he's ready to burn away his opponents with Gadrak, the Crown-Scourge
- Seth unites both Cat and Dog lovers under the powerful new banner of Rin and Seri, Inseparable
- Tomer takes the mantle of Aggro Player, looking to attack with small evasive creatures that draw tons of cards led by Edri -- I mean Subira, Tulzidi Caravanner
Can Cats/Dogs outdraw Wizards? Does Tomer know how to play an Aggro deck? What jank tribe is Richard secretly building around? Find out now in this episode of Commander Clash! But first, a quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

Viewer Submissions Are Open!
It's been a while, but we're finally getting around to doing another Viewer Submitted Deck episode! If you'd like to see us play one of your decks in an upcoming episode, simply provide a link to your deck list in either the comments section below. We will be choosing decks that appeal to us, are properly built (has the correct amount of mana / interaction / card draw / etc.), and adhere to our house ban list (see above).
The deadline for deck submissions is this coming Wednesday, July 15th. I look forward to seeing your sweet brews!
