Commander Clash S7 E26: Season Finale! Andrew Week | Gyrus vs. Trostani vs. Vaevictis vs. Xira

Hey friends, welcome back to Commander Clash! This season has now reached twenty-six episodes! It's been a great time for us, but all things must come to an end. This episode marks the season finale: after this episode we'll be taking a few weeks off, and then we'll be back with a brand new season! As we always do, a new season means a new roster change: Andrew will be stepping out of the core group, so to honor him, we're doing Andrew Week! Andrew gets to play whatever he feels like, while the rest of us are bringing decks that we feel best personify Andrew's Commander Spirit(tm). Here's what we've got:

  • Andrew plays one of his personal paper decks, a Selesnya Tokens list led by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice
  • Crim couldn't make it to this recording, so Richard is playing Crim's deck, a Lands deck led by the oldschool Vaevictis Asmadi
  • Seth celebrates Andrew's love of white border cards with an all White Border Jund deck led by Xira Arien
  • Tomer thought everyone was bringing White Border Jund this week, so he slapped together a last-minute White Border Jund of his own, led by Gyrus, Waker of Corpses

Will a Jund deck emerge victorious, or will Selesnya overwhelm the board? Who makes the best generic goblin noises? Let's find out! But first, a quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

See You Soon!

That's it for Season 7 of Commander Clash! Big thanks to Andrew for joining us this season; be sure to check out and subscribe to his YouTube channel if you already haven't! He posts Commander gameplay videos twice a week, cutting down hour+ long games into bite-sized ~15min videos, narrated with Andrew's smooth ASMR voice.

Season 8 will begin in a few weeks, and with it comes exciting new changes! But while we wait, there will be one bonus Commander Clash Live episode, where each of us will livestream a game over on Twitch and you can watch/interact with us while we play! The date is yet to be announced but we will post the date once it's been decided, so keep checking this site / Twitter for that. Thanks so much for watching and we'll be back soon!
