Commander Clash S3 Episode 23: Game Night!
Hello and welcome to Commander Clash, a video series where several MTGGoldfish contributors battle in a four player Commander game for fun and bragging rights. This week we're doing Game Night, where each of us build a deck around a game -- boardgame, videogame, any type of game -- outside of Magic: the Gathering. Here's what we've got:
- Tom takes the role of mayor in a Town of Salem deck led by Queen Marchesa
- Jennifer plays a classic game of Chess, looking to checkmate her opponents with the most important piece, Oona, Queen of the Fae
- Seth equips his worms and sends them to battle in a Worms Armageddon deck led by Selvala, Explorer Returned
- Tomer combos his way to a high score with a Street Fighter deck championed by his best fighters, Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder and Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix
The flavor is strong in these spicy brews, so I hope you guys enjoy this one! But first, a quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

Post-Game Thoughts
I'm really happy with how my deck turned out: it was super flavorful while being somewhat functional. If I could change one thing, it would probably be taking out Omniscience, which does nothing for the deck. If I really wanted to get nitpicky, maybe add some more ways to manipulate the top of my library, because I had atrocious luck with my clash cards (I won ZERO clashes!).
Big thanks to everyone on Twitter who helped me out with card suggestions; janky inclusions like Sonic Burst aka Sonic Boom and Hundred-Handed One aka E. Honda were suggested to me from you guys!
Next Week: Block Battle!
Each of us will be choosing a plane that has had two Magic: the Gathering blocks based on it, and then building decks using only cards from those two blocks. So for example, I picked Zendikar, so my deck will be composed entirely of cards from Zendikar and Battle for Zendikar blocks. As always, we love to hear from you guys! Tell us what you like to see, what you don't like, any ideas that we can put forward for future videos, or anything else you'd like to tell us!
