Commander Clash S3 Episode 23: Game Night!

Hello and welcome to Commander Clash, a video series where several MTGGoldfish contributors battle in a four player Commander game for fun and bragging rights. This week we're doing Game Night, where each of us build a deck around a game -- boardgame, videogame, any type of game -- outside of Magic: the Gathering. Here's what we've got:

The flavor is strong in these spicy brews, so I hope you guys enjoy this one! But first, a quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

Post-Game Thoughts

I'm really happy with how my deck turned out: it was super flavorful while being somewhat functional. If I could change one thing, it would probably be taking out Omniscience, which does nothing for the deck. If I really wanted to get nitpicky, maybe add some more ways to manipulate the top of my library, because I had atrocious luck with my clash cards (I won ZERO clashes!).

Big thanks to everyone on Twitter who helped me out with card suggestions; janky inclusions like Sonic Burst aka Sonic Boom and Hundred-Handed One aka E. Honda were suggested to me from you guys!

Next Week: Block Battle!

Each of us will be choosing a plane that has had two Magic: the Gathering blocks based on it, and then building decks using only cards from those two blocks. So for example, I picked Zendikar, so my deck will be composed entirely of cards from Zendikar and Battle for Zendikar blocks. As always, we love to hear from you guys! Tell us what you like to see, what you don't like, any ideas that we can put forward for future videos, or anything else you'd like to tell us! You can reach us in the comments section below, email me at tomer@mtggoldfish.com, or tweet me @BudgetCommander.

Single Scoop: How Bad is Red Without Monstrous Rage?

Its kind of a hot topic about if red can go on without Monstrous Rage or not. Lets take a look at how the aggro deck would fair without their absurdly busted combat trick.

Much Abrew: 249-Card, No "Real" Land, Oops All Spells Battle of Wits

Is it actually possible to win with a 249-card deck that plays no "real" lands to support the Oops, All Spells game plan while also winning with Battle of Wits? Let's find out!
