Commander Clash LIVE! from Grand Prix Vegas

For the first time ever, Richard, Seth, and I all met up in person to attend Grand Prix Vegas together. While we were there, we figured it was a good opportunity to record stuff that we could never do over the internet. So for the first time ever, it happened: we recorded Commander Clash live! Our gaming room was a hotel room with subpar acoustics, our table was the floor, our sweet camera angle was made possible with a swiffer mop, and the excellent lighting was provided by naked lightbulbs hanging directly in front of our faces with blinding intensity — basically the same setup that Game Knights runs, right? Let's see what we've got:

  • Richard sticks to his Tribal guns, this time showcasing the brand new 5C Warrior Tribal deck led by Najeela, the Blade-Blossom #24 Spider Gwen, Web Warrior
  • Seth durdles away with a Panharmonicon #237 deck that is technically led by Brago, King Eternal #198
  • Tomer shows off his least budget-friendly deck, 5C Enchantress, looking to set up defenses before smashing face with Karona, False God #138
  • Kesann graciously offered to take the fourth seat, borrowing my durdly Donate #31 Shenanigans deck led by Zedruu the Greathearted #231

Since we all play almost exclusively through Magic Online, none of us are used to playing the game with physical cards, let alone 100-card Commander decks! How many game rule violations can we make in a single game? Let's find out! But first, a quick reminder: if you like Commander Clash. and other video content here on MTGGoldfish, make sure to subscribe to the MTGGoldfish Youtube Channel to keep up with the latest and greatest.

Post-Game Thoughts

I'm sorry for ever complaining about you Magic Online. I appreciate you so much more now: keeping track of phases for me, automatically drawing cards for me when I should, always telling me how much mana I have, doing all the combat math... thank you, Ghost of Worth.

Next Season Coming Soon(tm)!

People keep asking me when the next season starts. I honestly don't know yet. We need to finalize some things first, but July is our target. I'll tell you when I know for sure. Until then, hopefully this game entertained you!
