Brewer's Minute: Individual Card Evaluations—Dire Fleet Poisoner vs. Gifted Aetherborn
Hey, everyone! It's time for another Brewer's Minute! Lately, we've been talking about a lot of big pictures and meta-level topics, so today, we're going to change things up and get as micro as possible. Sometimes when you're building a deck, you're left making tough choices between two similar cards. How do you know which one is right for your build? What is the process for figuring out these individual card-choice problems? That's our topic for today!
Normally, I try to include a text version of the video here in the article, but this week's video doesn't actually come across very well in text form, so you'll just have to watch. This being said, I did want to take a second to set the stage. The basic scenario is this: we're playing The Pirate God deck (list below) and trying to figure out if Gifted Aetherborn or Dire Fleet Poisoner is the better two-drop for the deck. We don't have room for both, so we have to make a difficult choice: Gifted Aetherborn or Dire Fleet Poisoner? What is the process for making this type of decision? Let's break it down, step-by-step, on this week's Brewer's Minute!
