Against the Odds: Trolling Arena Zoomers with Stax (Timeless)

Hello everyone, and welcome to another edition of Against the Odds! The other day, I wanted to play a cute little budget deck I built around Party Thrasher and Young Pyromancer, so I fired up some best-of-one Timeless and played against a seemingly endless stream of Scam decks and degenerate graveyard builds like Reanimator and Dredge. After getting crushed for seven or eight matches in a row, I had an epiphany: with the meta being so skewed towards Scam and graveyard decks, it just might be the perfect time to troll some Arena Zoomers with Stax. Cards like Rest in Peace and Containment Priest can stax out the graveyard decks. Leyline of Sanctity staxes opponents trying to scam away our hand with Grief, while White Orchid Phantom and Winter Orb stax out greedy mana bases. Can the plan work? How strong is Stax in Timeless? Let's get to the video and find out!
