Against the Odds: The Biggest Villainous Wealth Ever

Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Against the Odds! Ever since Villainous Wealth came to Arena a couple of months ago with Khans of Tarkir I've had one simple goal: win by stealing all the opponent's cards with the biggest Villainous Wealth ever. The only problem is I couldn't figure out what format would be best for the plan. I tried in Explorer and failed horribly. Timeless and Historic were even worse. Eventually I realized that the perfect Villainous Wealth format was staring me in the face the whole time: Historic Brawl. Once I realized that Historic Brawl was the best place to play a huge Villainous Wealth the only remaining question was was commander would best allows us to achieve our goal. It would have to be at least Sultai colors so we could play Villainous Wealth, but in theory we could go all the way up to five colors. After browsing though all the commanders on Arena I realized that Omnath, Locus of All was - by far - the best Villainous Wealth commander since we could play Omnath, float all of our mana for a couple of turns and cast a truly massive Villainous Wealth to (hopefully) win by stealing the opponent's deck! Can the plan work? How big of a Villainous Wealth an we resolve? Let's find out on today's Against the Odds!

Single Scoop: Aerith Joins Soul Sisters

Soul Sisters is a beloved archetype by many and thanks to Aerith, this deck is loaded with Ajani's Pridemate effects. Hopefully, she can outlast Standard better than she did with Sephiroth.
