$50 Verazol, the Split Current | Kicker Tribal | Commander Abridged Gameplay
Friends, it's time to kick it up a notch! We're going to slither into a game with my favorite new scaly boi: Verazol, the Split Current!
Verazol is a brand new commander from Zendikar Rising that supports the Kicker archetype: whenever you cast a kicked spell, you may remove two +1/+1 counters from Verazol to copy that spell. This turns our kicked spells into insane bombs, letting us steal two artifacts with Thieving Skydiver, make a huge wolf army with Wolfbriar Elemental, or make 10 creature copies with Rite of Replication!
All we need to activate this powerful ability is +1/+1 counters. We can do this by utilizing Green's fantastic ramp potential like Vastwood Surge and Grow from the Ashes to cast Verazol with tons of +1/+1 counters and by adding more counters to it with cards like Invigorating Surge and Inscription of Abundance.
The rest of the deck is filled out with all the usual important stuff like card draw (Inscription of Insight), removal (Mold Shambler), recursion (Murasa Sproutling), and wins with any of our kicked bombs, a token army (Roost of Drakes), or commander damage with our huge serpent leader.
The deck is incredibly well-rounded and powerful for just a $50 budget.
