Deck Primer / Description

The game plan of this deck is to generate a ton of artifact-based value, slow the game down using stax pieces, and win with either Approach of the Second Sun or The Millennium Calendar.

TL;DR - Kuldotha Forgemaster, Clock of Omens, Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle, Scrap Trawler, Sol Ring, and a 0 mana artifact is your 6 card infinite combo.

The deck has a convoluted infinite combo, although it's not the focus of the deck. Kuldotha Forgemaster can be activated an infinite number of times by sacrificing Scrap Trawler, Sol Ring, and a 0 mana artifact, such as Mishra's Bauble. Scrap Trawler will then trigger, returning the other 2 artifacts to your hand. If you control Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle, you can cast Mishra's Bauble to bring Scrap Trawler back to play. Lastly, once you have the 3 artifacts to sacrifice on the battlefield again, you can float mana with Sol Ring and use Clock of Omens to tap Scrap Trawler and Mishra's Bauble and untap Kuldotha Forgemaster, allowing you to repeat the process. This will create infinite colorless mana and tutor any number of artifacts onto the battlefield. After you have infinite mana, you can replace Sol Ring with Chromatic Star in your sacrifice loop to draw your entire deck, which will let you win by casting Approach of the Second Sun twice or by activating The Millennium Calendar and untapping it with Clock of Omens.

If you assemble your combo but both of your main wincons are exiled, you can still win the game on the same turn. First, create infinite clues with Bygone Bishop by substituting Sol Ring for a 1 or 2 cost artifact creature in your sacrifice loop. After you cast Thorough Investigation, you can use the clues to untap and activate Kuldotha Forgemaster, sacrificing as many of them as you want. Thorough Investigation will let you venture through Lost Mine of Phandelver 40 times to drain all of your opponents' life. If you don't have at least 40 cards in your deck, you can instead venture through Tomb of Annihilation to drain your opponents. Academy Manufactor will give you food tokens for infinite life, so they'll always die before you, even if one of them gained near infinite life.
