Playtest: Duel Deck Zendikar vs Eldrazi
We all know there are some powerful cards in Duel Deck: Zendikar vs Eldrazi; Oblivion Sower, It That Betrays, Avenger of Zendikar and Primal Command come to mind. But how do those decks play? Can the Allies of Zendikar keep the Eldrazi at bay? Or will It That Betrays, Artisan of Kozilek, and Ulamog's Crusher prove too much for the Zendikari? That's what we are going to figure out today.
For this playtest session we are going to have two matches. I'll start with the Eldrazi deck and Richard will be looking to end his year-long losing streak to me with Zendikar. Then for match two we'll switch decks and I'll take over Zendikar while Richard will get a chance to pilot Eldrazi.

Conclusion
After playing both decks, I feel like the Eldrazi are definitely favored. Zendikar does have a shot if things go just right. Maybe that's just how Wizards wanted me to feel. I mean, the Duel Decks do a great job depiciting a ragtag group of Allies against a devouring horde led by a flying spaghetti monster. Regardless of the outcome, the matches were fun to play and Duel Deck: Zendikar vs Eldrazi comes with enough value to justify the purchase, especially if you are looking for Oblivion Sower to complete a Standard deck.
