Cuddly Soft Combo #1

Hello and welcome to the first ever Cuddly Soft Combo on MTGGoldfish! So without further ado, let me walk you through this soft combo.

When most EDH players think about Prismatic Omen, they think color fixing. This card used to be a staple in many EDH decks until Return to Ravnica came out and the card was replaced by Chromatic Lantern; but unlike the lantern, Prismatic Omen can do so much more!

When teamed up with Last Stand you have an incredible power play. You cause one opponent to lose 10 life, hit a creature for 5 damage, put 5 1/1 green Saproling creatures onto the battlefield, and gain ten life and draw 5 cards (assuming you only have 5 lands in play). You get all these effects and it will only cost you 5 mana. That's what I call value!

With effects this huge I can easily see it finding a home in any 5-color EDH deck.

Since this is the first article, I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. If you like what you see, stay tuned; there are plenty more articles to come!
