Game Plan

We're looking to ramp ahead in Explorer as the indestructible artifact land was exactly what we needed!

$ 0.00 $ 0.00 $ 0.00 $ 0.00

With 8 copies of indestructible lands between citadel and Cascading Cataracts, we can use Cleansing Wildfire to ramp ourselves and draw a card! All this ramp will help expedite us into our four drops like Chandra, Torch of Defiance and Fires of Invention to continuously jam threats on each of our turns. Our late game includes some powerhouse Planeswalkers like Ugin, the Spirit Dragon and Chandra, Awakened Inferno. We also got our dragons like Glorybringer. In the event we have extra mana, we can use Cavalier of Flame's ability!

Conclusion

It's nice to play a non-aggro mono red archetype but unfortunately, our deck really struggles against control as they only need to counter a few key spells to sink our whole game plan. However, non-control matchups are pretty nice for us as we'll have potent threats relatively early with some random stolen wins thanks to Cavalier! The deck is sweet and feels like a fun Tier 2 deck!
